With funding assistance from the Highland Council Local Area Community Regeneration Fund and Struan Community Trust, DCT purchased a new minibus in 2026 which is available to hire out to local groups under our Section 19 permit.
The new bus is a 16 seater, plus a driver, and has an electric lift to allow wheelchair access for up to 2 wheelchair users. 4 seats are removed per wheelchair user.
The minibus is available for local groups to hire, and its operation is priced based on cost recovery only and not for profit. The current fee is 80p per mile (no additional cost for fuel), which is invoiced to the booking lead.
Check who is eligible to drive the minibus.
Once a booking request has been submitted, DCT will be in touch to provide terms of hire and a drivers’ declaration form which needs to be completed by all drivers.
Please submit booking requests at least a week in advance to allow us to process all of the necessary paperwork.
